Hanging Out With My Boating Buddy

For the next four days, my wife and I get to keep our new grandson Bryson who just turned 8 months this past week. This babysitting expedition will bring back some fond memories for his grandparents. His dad and mom are taking some days off with some of their friends at Gulf Shores. We never knew the number of ways you can spoil a grandchild until we starting keeping Bryson this past Friday. I for one just can't seem to let him sit on the floor and cry when he is bored with some of his toys. When he puts that please Pops pick me up and show me some attention face on I always pick him up. I am a big pushover and he knows just how to get his way with me. Cathey and I have been told there is nothing like grandchildren and now we have come to realize it with Bryson.

Congratulations, Grandpa, what a great looking young boy. He has got his hat and soon he will have his rod and reel. Thanks for sharing!

Sounds like a great activity for the two of you. I assume we will see another post about this trip!

Well it is probably going to rain us out today. I am working on getting there tomorrow. This little fellow has taken up all my day in a good way.

He is a handsome grandson and I know you and your wife are enjoying him tremendously. Nothing like grandkids...love the pic with the camo cap and bib!! Hope you got a chance to take him to the creek behind your house. :)

Never made it to the creek, rain again today. That trip will be on schedule for his next trip with us. I have to admit I have spoil him this week. He wants me to take him outside all time. He will point to the window or door to let us know he wants outside---and of course he gets to go out everytime he wants to.

Awesome post (sorry I'm late in reading it) - looks like there's going to be lots of fun times to come for you and your new fishing buddy.

I know you can relate to how proud I am of this little guy. I am sure this bring back memories of when Lilly was little.
