Spending Time With my Little Buddy

I can’t think of a better way to spend most of this week. I am talking about spending time with my Grandson” Bryson”. I am on another one of these trips where I stay with my daughter and Bryson, while B.T. is away on a Midas business trip in Texas. I’m not getting to go to the gym this week, but keeping up with Bryson is gym enough.
I am looking forward to next week that is when the fishing starts in earnest for me. The temps will be hitting the 62-degree mark and I should be on fish by Tuesday.
Got to be fun adding gravel to the top of tables
Waiting for Pops at the bottom
Got to love it!!!

  1. Good looking young man, Bill. And I'll bet you do have a rod and reel strung up for him already!

My daughter and son-in-law tell me that Bryson has me wrapped around my finger--I tell them that he is only little one time. Thanks for the comment

I will begin to fish Smith in about a week. At that time I will be using the Micro lights for crappie. I will pull the fly rod out the last of this month. If I was fishing on the 11th I would use nymphs, I think the water temps may too cold for top. The magic number on Smith is 65. I hope I am wrong and you land some Spots early on top. April is the time we will plan on going.

  10. Looks like a "chip off the old block" too me. Totally agree with you, Bill. They are that young only once in life. That is all you get. Enjoy every minute of it!

Bryson has my undivided attention when he is with me. I do find myself doing things for Bryson that I didn’t do for our own kids. I was told that one does that with Grandchildren---in fact my brother passed that bit of information on me. Thanks for the comment
