Glad you brought this to me and other blogger...Josh<br />Glad you brought this to me and other bloggers attention on mismatching line with a particular rod. I have been debating on spooling a 5wt line on my Temple Fork 4 wt. rod---why because I feel I could get a better cast and more distance with a heavier line weight on this particular rod. I notice the other day casting in some wind I was having problems controlling the line and placement of the fly. I think if I had a heavier line spooled I would have had more control over the placement of the fly. I will be changing the line on my 4wt. this week and replacing it with the 5wt. It has been really windy here lately and what better time to try the line switch out.
